Flasher Wrasse

  • Paracheilinus Wrasse should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim.

  • Plenty of rock work with cracks and crevices should be provided for resting and hiding.

  • Paracheilinus Wrasse are also known as flasher Wrasse as they flash vibrant colors and their fins during matting season and if threatenedd.

  • A diet of meaty foods along with Wrasse preperations should be provided. Flasher

  • Wrasse are hardy, reef safe and relatively peaceful. They can be kept with other Wrasse and communal fish in appropriate sized aquarium. Provide a diet rich in meaty based foods.

  • Wrasse are hermaphrodites meaning they start as juveniles/females but at some point in their life may turn into a male.

  • Wrasse are jumpers, provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid.

  • Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse can grow to a little over 3".

 

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 55 gallons or larger for this species.
