• Stonogobiops Gobies are also known as Shrimp Gobies and develop a symbiotic relationship with alpheid Shrimp.

• The Shrimp provide a home used by both the shrimp and Goby, while the Goby acts as a lookout for predators.

• Shrimp Gobies are hardy and make great additions to a reef aquarium.

• Stonogobiops Gobies should be added to aquariums with a deep sand bed for burrowing.

• Ample rockwork for grazing and hiding should be provided along with a diet of marine meaty foods multiple times daily. Shrimp Gobies will also scavenge through the sand for food.

• Gobies have been known to jump be sure to provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid.
