Citron Goby

  • Gobiodon Goby are often referred to as Coral or Clown Gobies.

  • Gobies should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork, caves, cracks and crevices for hiding.

  • Clown Gobies are naturally found near areas with abundant branching stony corals.

  • Clown Gobies may nip at corals as they feed on coral mucus and tissue along with benthic invertebrates and copepods.

  • Clown Gobies should be housed with peaceful tank mates as they can be out competed for food. However, they can become territorial with other members of their own genus.

  • Provide a diet rich in meaty based foods multiple times daily.

  • Clown Gobies may jump provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid.

  • Clingfish can grow to a little over 3".

 

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 10 gallons or larger for this species.
