Black and Gold

  • Neoglyphidodon Damselfish should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim.

  • Plenty of rock work should be provided for grazing.

  • Neoglyphidodon Damselfish are very aggressive careful planning and consideration should be taken before adding fish to aquariums.

  • They should be housed singly and only be housed with larger, intrusive and more aggressive tank mates.

  • A diet of meaty and algae based foods which includes Spirulina should be provided several times daily.

  • They may also pick at soft corals.

  • They can grow a little over 5".

 

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 50 gallons or larger for this species.
