Yellow Damsel

  • Chromis should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim.

  • Plenty of rock work should be provided for resting or hiding.

  • Chromis prefer a strong water current which in the wild provides them with a large supply of Zooplankton.

  • Chromis readily accept most diets of meaty and algae based foods which should be fed multiple times daily to satisfy their grazing behavior.

  • Chromis should be housed with other peaceful fish so they are not out competed for food.

  • Chromis are generally reef safe but research each species carefully to ensure adequate habitat.

  • They can grow to 6".

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 75 gallons or larger for this species.
