• Salarias Blennies should be added to well established aquariums with rock work for perching, hiding and grazing.

• They can be a bit aggressive and territorial towards their own kind. Known for their vovarious appetite for algae and will graze continuously, if ample algae is not available supplement with algae based foods.

• Salarias Blennies are often found in rocky reefs and logoons and rubble area.

• Salarias Blennies like to inhabit empty barnacle shells and mollusk tubes.

• Most Blennies lack or have very small swim bladders.

• Be sure to provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid as Blennies may jump.

• Starry Blenny can grow to 6".

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
