• Gramma Basslets are considered peaceful but can become territorial.

• Provide a diet of meaty enriched foods along with algae matter. Keep well fed with multiple feedings per day but do not overfeed.

• Avoid adding larger inhabitants to the aquarium as they may be easily harrassed.

• Gramma Basselets have also been known to remove ectoparsites off of other fish.

• Gramma Basslets are hermaphroditic meaning they may have both sex organs at some point in their lives.

• Gramma Basslets may jump provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid.

• Royal Gramma Basslet can grow to 3".

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
