•     Known as Dwarf Sea Basses Serranus Basslets are hardy and should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork and swimming room. 

•  Provide a diet of meaty enriched foods along with algae matter. Serranus Basslets have high metabolism's so be sure to feed multiple times a day. 

• Peaceful but can be aggressive towards inhabitants that swim in the lower level of your aquarium. 

• Serranus may pick at small shrimp and crabs.

• Hermaphroditic meaning they may have both sex organs at some point in their lives.

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 75 gallons or larger for this species.
