Eibli Angelfish

  • Acanthurus Tangs

  • Plenty of room to swim with rock work for grazing and hiding.

  • Considered reef safe but may pick at small, mobile and sessile invertebrates if not well fed.

  • Provide a varied diet of marine meaty and algae based foods.

  • Acanthurus Tangs have been known to be aggressive towards similarly shaped Tangs.

  • Juvenile and adult Mimic Eibli Tangs will have different colorations. Juveniles will have a few vertical red body stripes as they mature the stripes will begin to fade and become a lovely pale brown with dark colored dorsal, anal and tail fins with white edging.

  • They can grow to almost 10".

 

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 125 gallons or larger for this species.
