Acanthurus Tangs have been known to be aggressive towards similarly shaped Tangs.

Juvenile and adult Mimic Eibli Tangs will have different colorations. Juveniles will have a few vertical red body stripes as they mature the stripes will begin to fade and become a lovely pale brown with dark colored dorsal, anal and tail fins with white edging.

They can grow to almost 10".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 125 gallons or larger for this species.
